DAY 2 - Community Living Camp

The second day of the Community Living Camp “Niramayam” was held on Wednesday, December 3. The day began with a morning assembly conducted by the Yodha group.
For the day’s activities, duties were assigned as follows: the Loka group was responsible for programme coordination and stage arrangements, the Dheera group managed food and refreshments, the Yodha group handled management and cleaning, and the Kalki group took charge of documentation. All groups carried out their responsibilities efficiently.

At 10:00 a.m., the session “മനഃശാസ്ത്ര കളരി” was conducted. The guest was introduced by Ms. Anjali Murali (Faculty, SVMCTE, Vendar). The session on “മനഃശാസ്ത്ര ചിന്താധാരയും പഠനവും” was led by Dr. P. Babukuttan (Retired Principal, DIET, Kollam). The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Sruthi S. Shaji (Student).

At 1:00 p.m., the programme “ഹൃദയപൂർവ്വം” was organized, during which food packets were distributed to palliative care patients of the Kulakkada Social Health Centre, reflecting the camp’s commitment to community service.
At 2:00 p.m., the session “പറന്ന് പറന്ന് പറന്ന്” was conducted. The guest was introduced by Ms. Sathyalekha M. (Faculty, SVMCTE, Vendar). The topic “അതിജീവനത്തിന്റെ ആകാശം” was handled by Ami Vilakkudi (Social Worker). The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Thaniya S. (Student).

At 3:00 p.m., the programme “ആയുഷ്‌മാൻ ഭവ” was held. The guest was introduced by Ms. Athira G. (Faculty, SVMCTE, Vendar). The session on “സ്ത്രീകളുടെ ആരോഗ്യപരിപാലനം” was led by Dr. Divya Rani, Associate Professor and Head of the Department, SNIASR, Pangodu. The vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Sneha Mol S. (Student).

After the day’s programmes, the participants refreshed themselves, and a prayer was conducted at 6:30 p.m. This was followed by dinner and a feedback session, where students shared their experiences and reflections on the day’s activities.

The second day concluded with meaningful learning, social engagement, and a deep sense of togetherness among the participants.
