Teaching Practice -Fourth week ( August 4 - August 8)

August 4, Monday

Today, a morning assembly was conducted by 9 B. During the 3rd period, I had a class in 9 A and taught the "structure of the heart" using my innovative work. My interactive heart chart, designed like a WhatsApp conversation, helped students understand the topic easily and made the lesson more engaging.

August 5, Tuesday

In 9 A, I taught the "working of the heart "during my class. In the 6 th period, I had a substitution class in 9 A, where I taught "Heartbeat and ECG".

August 6, Wednesday

Today, in observance of Hiroshima Day, the school conducted a quiz program. After that quiz winners are selected. Then I taught Class 8 the topic "Contributions of Scientists in Chemical Evolution". Later, during a substitution in 9 A, I taught "pulse and blood pressure".

August 7, Thursday

A special assembly was held to commemorate Hiroshima and Nagasaki Day. Students made paper doves as symbols of peace. In connection with National Handloom Day, we visited the Edavattom Kaithari Unit to observe traditional weaving techniques. Regular classes were also conducted, and I taught "Double circulation" in 9 A.

August 8, Friday

During the last period in Class 8 i taught the topic Prokaryotes to Eukaryotes, covering the differences and characteristics of these microorganisms.


Weekly Summary (August 4–8)

This week included several special events alongside regular teaching. We reported to school by 9:15 a.m. and left by 3:50 p.m. every day. In addition to teaching various topics using different teaching learning aids.we also assisted in serving the mid-day meal. The week provided opportunities to engage students with innovative teaching methods and participate in events promoting awareness, peace, and cultural heritage.
