Teaching Practice Sixth Week (August 18 - August 22)
August 18 - August 22
During the sixth week of our teaching practice, regular classes were not conducted due to the Onam examinations. We reached the school every day by 9:15 a.m. and carried out the duties assigned by the teachers.
In the morning session, we were given the responsibility of supervising the students who did not have exams. We maintained discipline and ensured that they remained engaged and orderly.
During the afternoon session, we helped in serving the mid-day meal and again took duty to monitor the students who did not have exams. To keep them meaningfully occupied, We searched educational content on Google and asked simple questions to the children, making the time productive.
We completed our duties and left the school every day by 3:30 p.m.. The routine remained the same throughout the week.
Overall, although there were no regular classes, the week was spent responsibly, assisting in supervision, discipline, and supporting the smooth conduct of the Onam examinations.
