Anti Drug Awareness Class - Janabodhan 2025
As part of the Janabodhan 2025 campaign—an initiative aimed at raising social consciousness—Ashraya Samskarika Samithi, in collaboration with Ashraya kalayapuram, organized a highly impactful Anti-Drug Awareness Class on May 30, 2025. The event was held at the Ashraya auditorium in kalayapuram,Kottarakkara, and saw the participation of social leaders, spiritual guides, police officials, and hundreds of enthusiastic NSS Volunteers from various institutions.
We, a team of eight NSS volunteers, had the privilege of attending this enlightening session. The awareness class focused on the dangers of drug abuse among youth, highlighting the different types of drugs, how addiction begins, and the long-term consequences on individuals and families.
The resource person conducted the session with great clarity, using real-life examples and data to explain the growing drug menace in society. Many volunteers actively engaged by asking questions and sharing their thoughts, making the session interactive and thought-provoking. The class helped us understand the psychological, physical, and social impacts of substance abuse.
This experience has not only broadened our understanding but also empowered us to become ambassadors of anti-drug awareness in our communities. Programmes like Janabodhan 2025 are essential in shaping a responsible and alert younger generation, and we are grateful to Ashraya and all the dignitaries involved for making this initiative a grand success.and we get certificates
