Field Trip💫

On 9 november 2024 our College  organized its very first field trip of the year to the scenic hill station of Vagamon, nestled in the Idukki district of Kerala. The excitement was palpable as our journey began sharp at 6:00 AM, with students and faculty members all set for a day of exploration, bonding, and joy.

Our first stop was Mottakunnu, a serene and captivating hilltop that offered a panoramic view of Vagamon's lush landscapes. The cool breeze, rolling hills, and mist-covered meadows created a magical ambiance, making it the perfect spot to kickstart our adventure.

Next, we visited Pine Valley, a place known for its towering pine trees that form a natural cathedral of green. Walking through the shaded forest trail was a refreshing and peaceful experience. The tranquility of the place allowed us to connect with nature while sharing laughter and stories with friends.

Our final destination was the Vagamon Adventure Park, where the highlight of the day awaited us. The flower garden at the park was a visual treat, bursting with vibrant colors and a stunning variety of blooms. The flowers were artistically arranged, and illuminated lights shaped like floral patterns added a magical touch to the whole setup. One of the most memorable moments was the water show, which combined music, lights, and dancing fountains to create a mesmerizing spectacle. Everyone was in awe, capturing photos and soaking in the joyous atmosphere.

Throughout the day, there was no shortage of fun — from dancing and games to sharing delicious meals. The spirit of togetherness and the beauty of Vagamon made it a truly unforgettable experience. We returned to campus around 11:00 PM, our hearts full and memories richer than ever.

This field trip not only gave us a break from our academic routine but also strengthened the bonds between students and teachers. Vagamon’s natural beauty, combined with well-organized activities, made this trip a resounding success.

The educational tour titled Thimirpp , organized by the SVMCTE 24–26 batch, was an exhilarating and memorable six-day journey that blended adventure, cultural immersion, and relaxation. RISING AGAINST DRUG ABUSE - NSS INITIATIVES @ SVMCTE

On march 24, As part of the state-level initiative "Lahari Muktam Njanum Ente Kudumbavum" under the National Service Scheme (NSS), Our college SVMCTE, organized a series of powerful awareness activities aimed at eradicating drug abuse. The campaign included a poster-making competition, where students creatively depicted the harmful effects of drug use. The posters showcased a wide range of ideas—from the emotional struggles of addiction to the strength found in recovery—demonstrating the deep awareness and artistic talents of the participants. Reels were produced and shared on social media to spread strong anti-drug messages in a format relatable to today's youth. A high-energy flash mob was performed by students to grab public attention and convey the urgency of the issue. Pulamon Canal Cleaning Programme

On October 4,2024,the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of our college SVMCTE took part in the Clean Kerala initiative by organizing a cleanup event at the Pulamon canal in Kottarakkara. The volunteers worked diligently to remove waste, debris, and pollutants from the canal, contributing to the improvement of local water quality and the overall cleanliness of the area. This effort not only helped in preserving the natural ecosystem but also raised awareness among the local community about the importance of maintaining clean water bodies for both ecological balance and public health.
