CONCORDIA ✨️🎊💃

The inauguration of the SVMCTE Union and Arts Club, titled "CONCORDIA",a latin word,meaning 'Harmony' or 'Peace' was held on November 5, 2024. The program name was thoughtfully suggested by the Union Adviser, Mrs. Annie Thomas miss.The event was graced by two distinguished guests Sri S. R. Ramesh, the Municipal Chairman of Kottarakkara, inaugurated the Union, while Vineeth Elamad, a renowned mimicry artist from Comedy Ulsavam and a second-year B.Ed student, inaugurated the Arts Club.

Following the inaugural ceremony, Sri S. R. Ramesh delivered an inspiring speech, which was succeeded by the keynote address from the Manager Mr. Goutham Krishna sir.Adding to the charm of the event, Vineeth Elamadu mesmerized the audience with his mimicry skills, a heartfelt rendition of the song "Vanila Velli Paravakal Pole", and a soulful recitation of the poem "Renuke Ni Raga Renu Kinavinte".The vibrant day continued with energetic music and dance performances by our talented students. Upcoming activities, including an award function and spot acting sessions, promise to add more excitement and engagement to this memorable celebration.

Concordia truly reflected the essence of unity and artistic expression, marking the beginning of a creative and harmonious journey for the SVMCTE, community.

The educational tour titled Thimirpp , organized by the SVMCTE 24–26 batch, was an exhilarating and memorable six-day journey that blended adventure, cultural immersion, and relaxation. The trip began on February 20, 2025, with students embarking on a well-organized tour to four popular destinations in Karnataka: Coorg, Chikkamagaluru, Bailoor (Belur), and Udupi. Traveling in a 49-seater airbus, the tour provided an excellent opportunity for students to explore the beauty of nature, enjoy exciting activities, and bond with classmates outside the academic environment. RISING AGAINST DRUG ABUSE - NSS INITIATIVES @ SVMCTE

On march 24, As part of the state-level initiative "Lahari Muktam Njanum Ente Kudumbavum" under the National Service Scheme (NSS), Our college SVMCTE, organized a series of powerful awareness activities aimed at eradicating drug abuse. The campaign included a poster-making competition, where students creatively depicted the harmful effects of drug use. The posters showcased a wide range of ideas—from the emotional struggles of addiction to the strength found in recovery—demonstrating the deep awareness and artistic talents of the participants. Reels were produced and shared on social media to spread strong anti-drug messages in a format relatable to today's youth. A high-energy flash mob was performed by students to grab public attention and convey the urgency of the issue. Pulamon Canal Cleaning Programme

On October 4,2024,the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of our college SVMCTE took part in the Clean Kerala initiative by organizing a cleanup event at the Pulamon canal in Kottarakkara. The volunteers worked diligently to remove waste, debris, and pollutants from the canal, contributing to the improvement of local water quality and the overall cleanliness of the area. This effort not only helped in preserving the natural ecosystem but also raised awareness among the local community about the importance of maintaining clean water bodies for both ecological balance and public health.
