Teaching Practice 9 th Week (September 15 - September 17)

September 15 – Monday

During the 3rd period, I handled the class for 9A and taught the topic Alveolar Gas Exchange. In addition to the regular class, I conducted a conscientization program for Class 9A on the topic" Organic Farming". The session helped students understand the importance of eco-friendly agricultural practices and sustainable living.

September 16 – Tuesday

In the 4th period, I taught 9A the topic Cellular Respiration and Gas Exchange. The class was interactive, and students participated actively by answering questions and sharing their ideas.

September 17 – Wednesday

Today marked the last day of this phase of teaching practice. Our Physical Education sir visited our class for observation, and as a team, we presented a yoga demonstration for the students, which was appreciated by all.During the 3rd period, I taught 8A the topic Preparation of Observation Material.

The teachers of the school surprised us by giving small gifts as a token of appreciation. We also distributed sweets to everyone and captured many memorable photos with the students, making the final day emotional and joyful.

Weekly Summary (September 15–17)

This short week, marking the final phase of our teaching practice, was meaningful and memorable. Academic activities continued smoothly with lessons on alveolar gas exchange, cellular respiration, and observation material. A conscientization program on organic farming added value to students’ awareness of sustainable practices.
The highlight of the week was the last day, where we showcased yoga during the observation session and received warm appreciation and gifts from the teachers. Sharing sweets and taking photos with the students made the farewell heartfelt. Overall, this week brought a satisfying conclusion to the teaching practice, filled with learning, gratitude, and unforgettable moments.

The educational tour titled Thimirpp , organized by the SVMCTE 24–26 batch, was an exhilarating and memorable six-day journey that blended adventure, cultural immersion, and relaxation. Pulamon Canal Cleaning Programme

On October 4,2024,the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of our college SVMCTE took part in the Clean Kerala initiative by organizing a cleanup event at the Pulamon canal in Kottarakkara. The volunteers worked diligently to remove waste, debris, and pollutants from the canal, contributing to the improvement of local water quality and the overall cleanliness of the area. This effort not only helped in preserving the natural ecosystem but also raised awareness among the local community about the importance of maintaining clean water bodies for both ecological balance and public health.

RISING AGAINST DRUG ABUSE - NSS INITIATIVES @ SVMCTE

On march 24, As part of the state-level initiative "Lahari Muktam Njanum Ente Kudumbavum" under the National Service Scheme (NSS), Our college SVMCTE, organized a series of powerful awareness activities aimed at eradicating drug abuse. The campaign included a poster-making competition, where students creatively depicted the harmful effects of drug use. The posters showcased a wide range of ideas—from the emotional struggles of addiction to the strength found in recovery—demonstrating the deep awareness and artistic talents of the participants. Reels were produced and shared on social media to spread strong anti-drug messages in a format relatable to today's youth. A high-energy flash mob was performed by students to grab public attention and convey the urgency of the issue.
